Deep Water Running or Pool Running mimics normal running while in the water and not touching the bottom of the pool. It uses Deep Water Running Belts (buoyant belts that are fastened around the waist) as well as aquatic dumbbells to increase workout intensity.

Why Use Deep Water Running?

Deep Water Running is used for exercise by people of all ages and fitness levels. It is a way of continuing your training while injured or, supplementing existing training programs to either enhance recovery or to increase quality of running. It can be used by any athlete in any sport, or by anyone eager to get fit and participate in something different.

Benefits:

There are a wide range of physiological benefits associated with deep water running.  These include increases in cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility and a range of motion. It can increase metabolic rate and decrease body fat. It is also a great environment to meet new people, and is a unique sport to be involved in.
